Howdy you all, Mark, Tammy and Whitney came together after they met at a little
local church in Smithland Kentucky. Tammy was a singing in the Choir when he first
spotted her. Ohhhh Yea!!!
Tammy is blessed to work as a Home care specialist for the elderly and Four Rivers
Carson Center as an electrician. Mark hold’s his Master's Degree in Social Work as a
Certified Social Worker with Kentucky State and has numerous trainings in many
different areas. He enjoys and specializes in Chemical Dependency and is a treatment
provider for Multiple DUI offender under Kentucky law KRS 189. Mark also works with
the mentally ill population. Whitney is talented in many areas she is 14 years old
and Country. Whitney love’s all animals and wants to bring every one of them home to
live with her. She has her singing lessons weekly and will be singing in the Choir
with her mother shortly.
We love the “outdoorsy” kind of life and Country living! Mark, Tammy and Whitney
enjoy being together and enjoy wildlife of every kind.
Now, that brings us too Mark and Tammy’s first date. Call it Country dating, if ya
will. LOL! Mark went to Tammy’s place down in the Holler and met her father. Then Dad, Tammy
and Mark butchered 50 plus chickens together heee haw. Pa was a asking Mark all kinds of real serious questions! Those kinds of questions
that sort of make a man break out in a sweat. Pa is an old school kind of feller. Just to give ya an idea, Pa has a sign going into his place that says in bold print:
“Please Slow Down, Dogs, Chickens and Kids on road. Signed - Old Man with Shot Gun!”
Mark knew right then he had found family. Without a doubt a match made in Heaven. They have not spent a minute apart for very long since they first butchered all those chickens together at Tammy‘s place with dad! Honey Moon going strong with these snow/ice days!
Tammy and Mark enjoy living a Christian life and attending church every Sunday and
Wed both are thankful that our Salvation and Faith in God is top priority to us
both. We pray together, study Gods word together and share the Lord and His
Blessings and strengthen each other by living His word.
Right now our family consists of our Bulldogs to many to name them all right now;
you will see them on our Studs, Divas and Bleeding’s pages as we start to use them
in our program! Many of our Bulldogs are in stages of being checked out thoroughly
before they become part of Big Sky’s Breeding program or earn a Big Sky name in
front of there title. You may also see some or just a few of the Bulldogs produced
by Big Sky on our produced page too! Now other critters are the Bearded Dragon of
Whitney’s named Lizzy, her two fish and Leo the cockatiel, Snoop Dog Whitney’s
Beagle and Angel Tammy’s Rat Terrier mix named Angel. Plus whatever else Whitney
brings home she’s a real animal lover.
It’s great when we can get outside and weight pull our Bulldogs, set our corn/salt
lick out for the whitetail deer and other critters or cut wood for winter, and
plant our flowers or just sit on the front porch and drink a cup of coffee. We
know we have been given a beautiful life of living in the Country where people
dream of living. For us there is no other place but country. There are plenty of
good things to eat hunt and grow.
Tammy and Mark believe they share different things that make our yokes easy.
Together like a team of oxen such as gardening, our Beehives, pigs without all the
preservatives and fresh chickens’ eggs and other farm critters. When you have
someone who will jump on a four wheeler in winter with the mud just a flying, and
fishing and swimming in God’s Rivers and Lakes in summer it tends to make easier
to be yoked together.
Her is our road coming in as it was started for our kennels and the last shot was
after our first kennels went up.
Mark and Tammy pull there Harley Davidson out when they feel like they just need to Blow the carbon out of there pipes and enjoy the wind and Freedom on the open road.
We are simple folks who want to give all the Glory and honor and praise to Jesus for
everything and everyone in our life God has blessed us with.
The gorgeous Cumberland River is a mile or from the house! With the deer in our back
yard.
Lastly, Big Sky American Bulldogs would just like to say thanks to our great
bulldog friends and family. Ya'll don’t be shy and stop in the coffee is always
hot and vittles on the stove! Our Prayer is for God to bless you all, may his
tender mercies overflow in your life! As they have in ours!
Looking forward to meeting you all:
Mark, Tammy & Whitney
